A new school semester!

Hi everyone!

So here I am: THIRD YEAR! The semester is well underway, but I haven't had time to post or even craft! This weekend I took the time for myself to get lost at my craft table and forget about the to-do list. Here is what I came up with:

All of the above were done using My Pink Stamper Stamps, which I LOVE!!
I like to keep things very simple and clean. I would really enjoy learning other techniques, but right now I just don't have the time to put into it :(

I used the Peechy Keen animal faces stamps for the tutrle's face below, and I found the friend stamp in a sale bin at Michaels.

I hope you like them!

Getting Cricky's Sew Fabulous Challenge

I recently bought the DCWV Crafty Stack and I was so excited to use it for this challenge. Getting Cricky has a challenge to make something with sewing in mind.

I used the paper out of the stack that had sewing machines printed on it. I also used a tag from Tags, Bags, Boxes and More. The buttons and Prima Flowers are a couple add-ons I found in my craft box.

I hope you like it!!

Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #110

Here is yet another challenge, and probably my last, that I have taken on today.
These adorable cupcakes inspired me to make a greeting card. This is the first time I have stumbled across Cupcake Inspirations and I think that blog is such a cute idea! Using decorated cupcakes for inspiration is such a creative idea!

RECIPE:

Cartridge: Create a Critter; bee cut at 3 3/4"
Embossing Folder: for the wings I embossed them with the D'vine swirl currlebug folder
Stamps: Sophie's sentiments by Lawn Fawn ( I LOOOOVE LAWN FAWN!!)
Paper Punch: Martha Stewart Punch Around the Page

Bitten by the Bug 2 Challenge

I'm on a roll today with all these challenges! I saw there was a challenge at Bitten By the Bug 2. I am in need of a bookmark, so I threw one together for myself

Here is the Recipe:

paper: My Mind's Eye and cardstock
Cartridge: Hello Kitty Greetings strawberry cut at 2 3/4"
Ribbon: Michael's
Punch: Martha Stewart loop punch
Embellishments: Brads

I didn't want to use any pop-dots or emboss anything because I figured that would make it too thick to use as a bookmark.

I hope you like it! Have a wonderful day!!

Frosted Designs Butterfly challenge

Hello all! Today I took on the challenge over at Frosted Designs The challenge was to make a layout with butterflies.

I decided to make a nice bright Spring layout using the Create A Critter cartridge.

Paper: DCWV Brights Stack and My Mind's Eye
Adhesive: ATG gun, Zigg glue pen
Embellishments: Stick on Pearls from Dollarama
Paper punch: Martha Stweart loop punch

I think it turned out really nicely! Thanks for stopping by!
